Lawn Health Care: Fertilization Plus Aeration and Overseeding

Build thicker, healthier turf with a seasonal fertilization program paired with aeration and overseeding.

Lawnify Lawn Health Care is built for Pittsburgh and South Hills lawns that need more than mowing alone. We combine a timed fertilization program with core aeration and overseeding so nutrients reach the root zone, compacted soil opens up, and quality seed can establish in the right seasonal window. Homeowners choose this program when they want thicker turf, better color, and a clear plan that connects feeding and renovation work instead of one-off treatments.

What's included

  • Seasonal fertilization timed for color, root growth, and recovery
  • Core aeration to relieve compaction and improve soil access
  • Overseeding to thicken thin areas and improve turf density
  • A coordinated plan that connects feeding and renovation work

Why they work better together

Aeration opens the soil so water, oxygen, and fertilizer reach the root zone more effectively. Pairing that with overseeding and a fertilization schedule helps new seed establish while existing turf gets the nutrients it needs through seasonal stress.

Top benefits

  • Improved fertilizer and nutrient absorption
  • Better oxygen circulation for roots
  • Reduced soil compaction and runoff
  • Improved seed establishment and turf density
  • More resilient lawn health through seasonal stress

Seasonal timing

Fertilizer applications follow a seasonal schedule for your lawn's growth cycle. Aeration and overseeding are typically prioritized in early fall in Western Pennsylvania, when cooler temperatures and moisture support stronger establishment before winter dormancy.
